These diamond drill bits can be used dry, or wet for increased speed and longer life. Holes in porcelain, ceramic and granite can be drilled from 3/16" to 1/2" diameter and up to 1-3/16" deep. Drill has a through hole for slug removal and three flats on the end to prevent slipping in a drill chuck. The FTJ Series has a diamond matrix that can be dressed and gives longer life. The FTJ Long Life Series gives about 50% increased life compared to the FAJ Standard Series.

Bits are designed to fit on any 3/8 rotary drill (NOT hammer drill) with a recommended drill speed of a minimum of 800 rpm. Average drill time is 20 seconds. During drilling it is necessary to cool tip in a separate cup of water, as shown on the product video, or with the No. M-PERFORMER Cooling Fluid.
