SELITAC thermally insulating underlayment is used for a variety of floating floor installations including laminate and engineered hardwood. Folding fanfold panels are easy to lay, easy to latch, and easy to cut. The fine-celled, extruded polystyrene foam offers excellent impact (transmitted) and in-room (reflective) sound insulation with a IIC 69 STC 66 rating. This underlayment corrects minor subfloor imperfections and cracks. SELITAC's folding panels are easier to work with than roll-type underlayments, because the panels lay flat not curling up like roll-type underlayments. Its' superior compression strength protects non-glued laminate floors against damage at the seams where floating floor locking systems can be compromised due to load pressure. 100% Recyclable.
