The kit includes one 3/8" x 12" x 32" Ramp and two Side Shims. These ramp kits offer a gentle, smooth transition from hard surfaces to carpet. Available in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" thicknesses.
To choose the right ramp, you generally will measure the height from the sub-floor to the top of the hard surface and subtract a 1/2". However, if you are installing extremely thick or thin carpet, you may need a thicker or thinner ramp.
