This 6 inch seam roller helps produce a better seam when using heat tapes. When used behind the iron, angled roller wheels tend to pull the nap of carpet together, achieving better penetration between carpet backing and hot heat tape adhesive. Will knit the carpet pile to cover the joining seam line when done correctly. Ideal compliment tool when carpet seam joining.
