For ceramic tile installation work, this set has a heavy duty rectangular construction to make it our straightest and strongest aluminum straight edge set. Both ends of each individual straight edge are plugged with a plastic insert to prevent mortar from weighing down the tool. Clear anodized aluminum construction means this set cannot rust, rot or warp like steel, or wood. Often used as a mortar screed.
